Conclusion

What better way to use the last of year then with the boys playing in the yard and enjoying wood fired pizza for dinner.

Super Off Road

'Mum, when is it my turn? I want to go with Daddy!'
This was definitely a circumstance which calls for one of my standard responses:
When you're 10.

Merry Christmas

If it is possible for a tree to have a split personality disorder then ours had one. The top was refined and delicate with an air of grace. The bottom.....disheveled, knotted and definitely colourful. A little bit to suit everyone's taste and more appropriately to suit their developmental age. Cheers!

Not Literally

Spiderman was cooking up a storm in the sandpit. A yummy cake for us to eat.How does it taste?
He'll learn.

More Un-recycling

This time he chose a more age appropriate item to un-recycle (due to both it's former contents and the non breakable material).

Fairy Floss

Sebastian seemed really excited when we handed him this fluffy pink stuff on a stick. Unable to hold back, Steve stole some immediately.

‘Oh! You eat it!’ says Sebastian.

Does that make us bad or good parents?

Bunnings Family Fun Night

We like Bunnings but when they gave us dinner, a bouncy castle, fairy floss, popcorn, craft activities, balloons, presents and an audience with Santa we changed our minds.
We LOVE Bunnings.

Another year older and another boy to help with the unwrapping! No help needed to eat the caramel mud cake though.

Last Day Of Kindy

It was unseasonably cold. As Sebastian dressed in his snuggly pants and a double layer of long sleeves to go under the Christmas shirt I tried to explain to him that this was his last day at Kindy. He seemed to think he would be going back after Christmas.

Sebastian was justifiably looking forward to the breakup party and Christmas tree cakes while I somberly reflected on how the year (like all good ones) has passed far too quickly.

Thank you Mrs Linda Udell and Mrs Judy Leech for such a fabulous year.
