Cubby Delights

Elliott enjoys playing with Lily, especially when ice cream is involved (pretend or otherwise).

Ship Shape

Luckily we have two deck hands who are more than enthusiastic about ship maintenance.

Find a Quiet Spot

There is nothing like a good book to read.  Especially when recommended by a loved one after they have finished reading it.

After a quick search, Elliott found an ideal platform for displaying his contention due to being extradited from the shed.

The boys love spending time in the backyard.  Lots of climbing, hitting and throwing involved.

Someone has got to show him how to do it.

Thumbs Up!

When Sebastian heard his named called in assembly to receive Student of the Week Award, his excitement could not be contained.  He grinned from head to foot as he giggled and jiggled.  And so did we.

100 Collection

Sebastian's school was celebrating 100 days of school by requesting students to present a collection of 100 things.  Due to our extended holiday, we had but one afternoon to gather our 100.  Sebastian was adamant that his collection be of cars.

'Do we even have 100 Cars?' I asked, 'Perhaps we should count rice bubbles?'

 Apparently.... yes.
Yes we do have 100 cars.

Well, technically, 100 vehicles but we figured the odd boat, plane, helicopter and train carriage was close enough especially when dealing with the handy cap of a little brother more interested in removing the cars from the rows then helping to count.

I was just pleased to get the photographic evidence before they all dissolved back into the house.

The Day We Left the Shoes Behind

Queen's Park water ways were far too tempting on a sunny day and it just called for one to take their shoes off and have a paddle.

Food Ahoy!

Combining two of Sebastian's favourite things; Pirates and Master Chef.  So what does a pirate eat for breakfast?

Take two slices of frozen bread.  Defrost one in the microwave and toast one in the toaster.
Meanwhile, crack one egg in frypan and cook with a little grated cheese over the top.
Place the cooked egg on buttered toast and then top with bread to complete the sandwich.
Grill sandwich, bread side up till toasty.

Good aroma + use of multiple appliances = masterpiece.
