Another year older and another boy to help with the unwrapping! No help needed to eat the caramel mud cake though.

Last Day Of Kindy

It was unseasonably cold. As Sebastian dressed in his snuggly pants and a double layer of long sleeves to go under the Christmas shirt I tried to explain to him that this was his last day at Kindy. He seemed to think he would be going back after Christmas.

Sebastian was justifiably looking forward to the breakup party and Christmas tree cakes while I somberly reflected on how the year (like all good ones) has passed far too quickly.

Thank you Mrs Linda Udell and Mrs Judy Leech for such a fabulous year.

A few things are a given at Kindy concerts......

The kid at the end of the line who has just had enough.
And of course, the moment when the inappropriately loud giggles take over.

We can all go!

The little man and I have been waiting all year to join Steve and Sebastian on the annual AE Smith Kids Christmas Party at White Water World. It was just as fabulous and as wet as we imagined. I should take this opportunity to apologise to Elliott for not properly preparing him for meeting Santa. Or perhaps it was the lack of Belly Wobble that made him feel so amiss? But the presents made up for it (I hope).
