Camping at Bribie

We had a fabulous time camping with the family. Miraculously Steve managed to fit a household of things into the trailer. It was a bit of a ‘Tardis’ moment. In our 5 days away we managed to do a little bit of everything.....

A little bit of boating,

A little bit of fishing,

A little bit of paddling,

and of course a little bit of relaxing.

The boys love to have a chat together.

But I'm not sure if Elliott has decided if this is a fun game.

Elliott has learnt a new trick....
He can roll over!

Satisfying

It’s one of those jobs – you know the one? When it’s well and truly overdue to be done but hasn’t been got to due to the rain but it’s the rain that emphasised the problem. It’s a bit like colouring in the lines, slowly and methodically the black is replaced by clean surface. Results are instant and it’s quite satisfying to watch particularly when it is someone else who is doing the hard labour.

No need for conformity. A little bit of imagination and creativity turn the mundane into a work of art.

9 Weeks

The bassinet is gone and Elliott is obviously quite comfy in the cot.

Shopping

Two prams, two babies, two feed schedules, toilet stops, nappy stops, coffee stops and that’s not even mentioning Mr 4’s needs; it’s hard to imagine how we actually get shopping done. The answer is very little, very slowly!

Still, we managed to find some baby sunnies for Elliott. They were a bit big for him when we tried them on in the store but we figured he should grow into them by the end of the shopping trip.

I tell Lily that she will be my lifelong shopping buddy. In a house full of boys, she gives me the justification I need to look at the pink frilly things. Nieces are handy things!
