Merry Christmas

Santa came; the fudge was gone and the sacks were full.

Sebastian had a splendid time looking through his treasures and then like a good big brother, he helped Elliott look through his.

Santa knew just what Elliott needed. We were down to the last few nappies when Santa delivered the goods. Thank you Santa!

Christmas lunch was a BBQ at the Rutherfoords. The sun forgot to grace us with its presence which would have been a lovely present (I think someone forgot to tell the weather man we have already had enough rain for December). However, the rain didn’t stop the boys from having fun; a large back yard, rain, mud and water pistols is the perfect combination for a great day.

We continued the Christmas Chaos into Boxing Day. Rain or no rain we decided to light up the pizza oven for a glazed ham gourmet delight. After 2 hours with wet wood and wet paper a fire was lit. Some would call it a Christmas miracle or perhaps it was just Steve’s genius fire bug abilities. The pizzas were delicious and all were compelled to raise their glasses to give a cheer to Steve for spending a day in the rain to make it happen.
