Camping - Brooms Head

I have often wondered why people go camping in the middle of winter. ‘Forty-two’ wasn’t enough of an explanation anymore so I guess it was time to find the answer. I discovered that one goes camping in the middle of winter for the same reasons as one would go any other season. The only addition needed is a few extra snugly coats, blankets and fan heater. Adjusting to a 'winter way of thinking' Sebastian soon discovered the best way to surf, staying dry and warm.

Down at the beach the water was lovely – if you’re into the freezing cold hypothermia swimming kind of thing. We are not into the freezing cold hypothermia swimming kind of thing so rock collecting became our activity of choice.

On many occasion, Steve was destine to collect more than just rocks.
